During after-school and evening hours, most
schools go unused. Community Education makes it possible for schools to
be open for use by individuals, community and civic groups, organizations
and sports leagues.
Highlights
145,383 children and youth participated in activities conducted
at community schools.
155,134 adults participated in civic, community and recreational
activities held at community schools.
